In an email that went to Metropost News, They said that the band was formed with one crazy idea which was to return the music to its original source in order to explore and re-imagine what might have grown out of great music roots in the United States.
“It’s a crazy idea to try and distill something original and powerful from the elements that make up some of the most powerful music the human ear has ever heard,” they say.
Steve Bonham And The Long Road calls their music Moonshine Music which means taking some simple, authentic yet magical tones to try to bring out a rare and raw spirit. Their music is strictly acoustic but has a strong and evocative type.
“Great melodies and great riffs abound with everyday stories wrapped around them so intimate and expansive, funny and moving,” said Steve.
For information, their new EP ‘Crossroads’ is a special edition for 2022. This EP features the tracks ‘Washed Away’, ‘Something’s Gotta Change’, ‘This Strange Motel’ and ‘Down Here At The Crossroads’.
