METROPOSTNews.com | MY BEST SUNDAY DRESS is a grunge band formed by Yasmina she is a singer,writer in Brussels, Belgium. Their first EP album, “Ready to Wear”, was released in May 2010.
In the same year, the official video of the song “Witch” produced by Caroline DEMETS was posted online and received positive reviews from music critics in Belgium. MY BEST SUNDAY DRESS has also appeared on several American and Italian women’s rock compilations with the songs Down, Good Girl Clothes and Witch.
Do not stop there, the band has toured in France, Belgium and the Netherlands. Due to its active promotions and web broadcasts, MY BEST SUNDAY DRESS has gained a lot of recognition in the rock scene in Belgium.
In fact, their song on MySpace officially reached almost 92,000 listeners in just a few months. In an interview on Belgian radio they said that the band’s name was taken from one of HOLE’s song titles, “My Best Sunday Dress”. And their musical influence comes from bands such as Silverchair, Muse, Janis Joplin, Ray Charles.
When asked by MetropostNews about the plan for her new album, Yasmina Vocalist for MY BEST SUNDAY DRESS said “Our second album is coming soon…Stay tuned”.
